The muscle memory point is real. I've been on both sides of it. The investment you put into configuring skills, building your instruction files, learning the quirks... it compounds. That's basically why I ended up writing everything I'd learned about Codex CLI into one place. Config, AGENTS.md, approval modes, the lot.
